Who is Jesus?
Maybe you grew up hearing about Jesus. Maybe you’re only just starting to wonder about Him. Either way, we’re really glad you’re here.
Lots of people see Jesus as a good man or a great teacher, and He was both. But the Bible says He’s much more than that. He’s the Son of God, and He came down to earth to live among us. If you’ve ever wondered what God is really like, Jesus is the best place to look.
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.”
John 1:14
He did it for you
Jesus never did anything wrong, and yet He was arrested and nailed to a cross. He could have walked away, but He didn’t. He went through it because He loves us. He took the punishment for everything we’ve done wrong, so that we wouldn’t have to carry it. You can’t earn that. It’s a gift.
“While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
And He is alive!
Three days later, the tomb was empty. Jesus came back to life! It’s the reason we can come to God without being afraid. Everything that stood between us and Him has been dealt with.
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.”
Matthew 28:6
A fresh start
Following Jesus isn’t about religion or having it all together. It’s a personal relationship with God, who made you. When you put your trust in Him, He forgives you and gives you a brand new start. His Spirit comes to live in you. Whatever’s in your past, it doesn’t get the last word anymore.
“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
So… where do I start?
You can talk to Him, right now, wherever you’re sitting. Tell Him you believe Jesus died for you and rose again, and that you want Him in your life. He hears you.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9

Most of us had loads of questions when we started out, and some of us still do!
